Dates with my special guy

My favourite date has to be when my boyfriend and I go to town (either his local town or the town in the middle of us) and wander around, sometimes see a movie, then go to the pub afterwards.

Walking around is fun and you can randomly stop and hug/kiss/make out. Plus it's some exercise!

Watching a movie is fun because you can quietly sit enjoying each others company for an hour or two. Or you can go and have some fun in the dark! The publicness adds to the thrill of it!

I always like going to the pub because I enjoy sitting down and focusing on my boyfriend and talking to him and him talking to me. I always forget where I am and what's happening when I'm with my special guy. It's such a nice feeling.

Other things I like doing are being taken places by my boyfriend when he knows the place really well and I have never been. I find it thrilling to go to new places. I like being led around by people, I'm not the sort of gal to lead people around, I would rather follow them. Following is also a great excuse to check out the arse infront of you. Give it a try sometime.

I don't mind dates in public places, but I do like to go somewhere private for some part of the date, it makes me feel like there is only me and my guy in the whole world and it's really special.

I love my guy and I wouldn't change him for the world! :)

Ring

I'm a fan of body mods so last Saturday I went and got my tummy pierced.
I just had a simple titanium bar.
It hurt slightly when the needle went through, but I didn't feel anything when the bar wash pushed through and the ball was screwed on.
I think in comparison to getting a tattoo, a piercing is more painful (even though it happens quicker, but I'm comparing the amount of pain), but easier to look after.
I've also been looking for places to buy some new rings to go in the hole, and I was suprised at the lack of shops that sell rings. I only found "Claire's Accessories" (which I wouldn't buy things from at all) and the tattoo parlour where I got my piercing done. I can recall seeing a shop on Brighton Pier which sold rings, but that is quite far to go.
I think I will go there sometime with a couple of friends and make a day of it. :)

So long for now and thanks for all the fish!

Service

My car went in for its first service today.
I was so worried about it. Not because I was worried that something would be wrong with it, but more worried of anything would happen to it. Where would the seats be positioned? Would they steal anything that was left in my car. Would I have to re-adjust everything for a few weeks to get it back how I like it?

It turned out that my paranoia wasn't needed. My car was fine. Everything was where it was. Except for a wing mirror which had been moved, but moved to a better position that I had never been able to get it into. So that made me happy.
They also washed my car. It needed a wash :)

So my day has been great so far. Aboslutely perfect. Add to that the fact that the service cost about £70 less then they said it would.

Only a few things could make this day absolutely perfect, but it is close enough.

:)

Coca Cola

I was watching the "new" Coca Cola advert, the one with the different styles of glass bottles over the years, when I noticed the narrator saying, "No artificial colours or flavours. Never has."
Then I thought back to the books I have with weird facts in them and I remember one fact in particular: " Coca Cola used to be green".
Now all the books of weird facts say that Coke used to be green, but my internet research shows that it was never green.
Can the internet be right? Or can books? Somehow I don't think that both can be right.
By the way, Santa Claus, (Father Christmas, Saint Nick, whatever you want to call him or her) used to have a green suit, not red and black.

Computer

I was about to write a blog entry about who-knows-what when I noticed my computer was making some noises.
High-pitched noises. I suppose they could be described as working noises, signs that my computer is working.
I don't mind it working, I just wish these noises would be quieter. At first I just thought it was randomly making these noises, and now I notice it all the time.
It is getting on my nerves though.
I can't see a way to solve it, except to play music :)
Roll on happy hour (or more).
I just hope it stops.
Anyone know of any good artists of electro/techno music?
That's what I'm in the mood for right now, apart from chocolate cake and flowers, but that's another story.

Guy

So this guy dumps this girl because he lives too far away, has to do overtime, was too busy to see her and needing to study. And he still loves her.
Thing is, they live in the same country, only about 90 miles apart, which is about a 2hour ish drive. And the guy can drive.
That's not bad is it?
I have to catch a bus then two trains when I go to see my guy where he lives. My journey takes over 2 hours and costs around £10.
If I can do it on public transport, why can't this guy do it in the comfort and free-ness of his own car?
He should be happy that they live in the same country.
Other people have to travel half way around the world to see their loved one(s). Some are away from their friends and families for months on end (such as oil rig workers). And some people have the worry that their loved one will go to work and never come home again, or will come home irreversibly changed (army/navy/airforce heroes).

So what is this guys problem?

I'll let you decide.

Stumble

A friend recently introduced me to StumbleUpon, a website that if you install the toolbar then click the Stumble button it directs you to a website that you will like, based on your preferences.

It seems good, from what I've seen so far.

I am using it a lot actually, it's a good boredom solver.

Give it a try!!

Girls

I found this and thought that it is very true. I know a girl who is an apple at the top. She needs a good guy to climb up to get her.

Girls are like
apples on trees. The best
ones are at the top of the tree.
The boys don't want to reach for
the good ones because they are afraid
of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they
just get the rotten apples from the ground
that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples
at the top think something is wrong with
them, when in reality, they're amazing.
They just have to wait for the right
boy to come along, the one
who's brave enough
to climb
all the way
to the top
of the tree
